Bring Your Bike or Take a Hike!
Bring your bicycles! Enjoy a bike tour along beautiful Rte. 381 S where you ride along a clear stream pass the Rolling Rock Farms and Stable. In the fields you will see horses grazing as well as deer. It's a scenic ride with nature's view at it's best then when you think it can't get any better an impressive white church in the country comes into view. St. Michael's Church in Rector is a site to behold! Then, continue on to Linn Run State Park and Adams Falls. You will come to a popular natural water drinking area. Pull over, take a deep breath then enjoy clean, crisp mountain water. People come from far and near with huge jugs to take this water back home or to sick people who say this water is the best for them.
For those of you who are serious Mountain Bikers there are trails on the Laurel Summit State Park. This popular scenic area draws visitors throughout the year...It elevation is 2,739 feet above sea level. What a view!
Hikers there are over 70 miles on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. Seasoned hikers will enjoy rugged areas while there are pleasant sections for the casual hiker.
