I was road tripping the Lincoln Highway and stopped cold to see if a room was available, but no vacancy. However, the darling hostess/owner, while checking in another couple and offering to make dinner reservations for them, at the same time without missing a beat, had her assistant call a nearby B&B and reserve a room for me. How very gracious! I pouted wishing I could remain in the beauty and charm of her place, but I will make a point to return another time. It took very few minutes to identify her wish to fully accommodate her guests' every want and need, handle multiple priorities and be very kind to a road weary traveler!
